About
Jane Z. Spadaro, MD, PharmD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculoplastic and orbital surgeon.
Dr. Spadaro earned both her Doctor of Pharmacy and medical degrees from Rutgers University. She graduated from pharmacy school summa cum laude and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha during medical school.
She completed ophthalmology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, where she received the program's Academic Excellence Award, followed by a two-year American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) fellowship at Kahana Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery and Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital.
Dr. Spadaro currently practices ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery with Virginia Eye Consultants and Tidewater Eye Centers in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and serves as community faculty in ophthalmology at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Her clinical and academic interests span eyelid surgery, orbital disease, thyroid eye disease, tear drainage disorders, periocular oncology and reconstruction, and aesthetic eyelid surgery.

Dr. Spadaro's research interests include thyroid eye disease, eyelid surgery, periocular reconstruction, orbital disease, and lacrimal surgery.
She has participated as an investigator in multiple clinical trials evaluating emerging therapies for thyroid eye disease and has presented oculoplastic research at national and international meetings.
